In the 2018 Legislative Session in West Virginia, LPAC is working on these key issues:
LPAC is spearheading an effort to NULLIFY Obamacare in West Virginia.
Following in the footsteps of South Carolina, we are working to introduce legislation, under the 10th Amendment, to prohibit anyone from forcing you to purchase Obamacare, effectively rendering the Law null and void within the State of West Virginia.
WVLPAC is leading the fight to preserve our history and monuments in our great state. Hatred and the modern political use of our historical monuments and markers must be condemned as well. But our history, our heritage and our rich and vibrant history must NOT be erased by violent and radical socialist activists.
Nullification of future Federal Anti-gun laws, rules and orders. Stopping the Anti-gun machine at the West Virginia state border.
Common Core is destroying our educational system, and violates the 10th Amendment Right of West Virginia and her citizens to determine what our children are taught in school. In a huge power grab, the Federal Government has violated the Constitution by forcing State and Local School Boards to implement this curriculum. Delegates Folk and McGeehan, and Senator Patricia Rucker are introducing our legislation to stop this program in our State, and return the power to the State, County and most importantly to the parents, in deciding what our children are taught in school.
Blood Bill Warrant Requirement
We are working hard to protect your 4th Amendment Rights and force the State to obtain a warrant prior to a forced blood test on a traffic stop. Already judged unconstitutional in Missouri by the United States Supreme Court, House bill 2513 introduced and signed by Governor Tomblin allows a police officer to force you to undergo a blood test or immediately give up your drivers license. The 4th Amendment to the Constitution protects you, your property and your possessions from unlawful search, and if your own blood is not your property, what is?
They are many other issues we are facing in West Virginia, and LPAC is working tirelessly to protect our State from Federal overreach.
